CBD stores in Texas were required to close as the state did not deem them “essential” during the coronavirus outbreak. However, Compassionate Cultivation, a dispensary, was deemed essential.
Their registered patients were still able to obtain their CBD products without having to leave home, The Dallas Observer reported. Implementing delivery was the best option for the dispensary to ensure the safety f their patients and staff.
Deliveries were made to their patients in the Dallas area.
CEO Morris Denton said, “A lot of our patients have compromised immune systems because of tricky medical conditions. Rather than put our patients at risk, we said, ‘Look, you guys stay put, look out for yourselves and we will get the medicine all the way to you.’”
CBD retailers are starting to open again across the state.
