The Southwest Cannabis Conference and Expo will be held on February 28 and 29th in Fort Worth. The event will offer education as well as industry information and law. The medicinal benefits of marijuana will also be discussed, according to event details listed by Star Telegram.
The ticket price is $100 per day. Government officials receive free admission. High-profile guest speakers are planned.
Guest speakers will include:

- Former NFL player Ricky Williams
- Former NFL player Kyle Turley
The convention will be held at the Fort Worth Convention Center. Sponsoring the event are the Texas Cannabis Industry Association, Dallas Observer and TXmarijuana.com.
The executive director of the SWCC Expo said he “hopes it will be the most professional and educational cannabis conference the Southwest United States has ever experienced.”
Marijuana consumption will not be part of the event. Veterans can obtain a discount promotional code for reduced ticket prices.
The event invites anyone wanting to be educated on marijuana itself or the industry to attend. Over the course of the 2-day event, seminars, product launches and networking opportunities will be available.
